Prof. Lahoucine Aammari, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University of Fez, Morocco

Dr. Lahoucine Aammari earned his PhD in Interactions in Literature, Culture, and Society with distinction in 2021 from Sultan Moulay Slimane University. He has taught a range of subjects, including literature, translation, and cultural studies, at Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University since 2021. His research interests include cultural identity, historical relations, and translation studies, reflected in numerous publications in esteemed journals and edited volumes. Aammari has actively contributed to seminars and workshops, enhancing academic dialogue within the field. 🌍✍️

Educational Background 📚

Prof. Lahoucine Aammari earned his PhD in Interactions in Literature, Culture, and Society with distinction from Sultan Moulay Slimane University in 2021, under the supervision of Professor Moulay Lmustapha Mamaoui. He obtained his Master’s degree in Literary and Cultural Encounters from the same university in 2016. Additionally, he holds the Certificat d’Aptitude Pédagogique de l’Enseignement Secondaire (CAPES) for English Language Teaching from L’Ecole Normale Supérieure – Taqadum, Rabat (2011). He graduated with a “Licence” (BA) in English Language and Literature with distinction in 2006, and completed his Baccalaureate in Modern Letters at Ouaouizerth High School in 2002.

 

Teaching Experience and Academic Appointments 📖

Prof. Lahoucine Aammari has a robust teaching background, having served as a high school teacher from 2011 to 2021. He is currently an Associate Professor at Sidi Mohamed ben Abdellah University in Fez, Morocco, since 2024, after previously holding the position of Assistant Professor there from 2021 to 2024. Additionally, he is a part-time instructor at Al Akhawayn University, focusing on academic skills, critical thinking, and composition for the 2023-2024 academic year. He was also nominated by the MA Pedagogical team to teach in the seminar series “Perspectives in Historical Research in North Africa and the Middle East” at the University of Pavia, Italy, scheduled for September 2024. 🌍✏️
