Assoc. Prof. Dr. Husnul Azan Tajarudin is a leading researcher in biotechnology, sustainable agriculture, and environmental engineering, with extensive expertise in valorizing food and agricultural waste through innovative biological processes. He has successfully led grants exceeding RM 5 million, including pioneering projects on probiotic poultry feed via two-stage fermentation of food waste, membrane bioreactors for enhanced fermentation and wastewater treatment, microbial fuel cells for energy recovery, and biological preservation of wood and self-healing concrete.
