Assist. Prof. Dr. Ghodsiyeh Joveini is a distinguished Iranian occupational therapist and academic specializing in pediatric rehabilitation and participation assessment. She earned her Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy from Iran University of Medical Sciences (2013–2021), focusing her thesis on the development and validation of an adolescent participation tool. She holds an M.Sc. from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and a B.Sc. from Shahid Beheshti University. With over a decade of teaching experience, Dr. Joveini has served as a lecturer at top Iranian medical universities and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, where she teaches various clinical and theoretical OT courses. Assist. Prof. Dr. Ghodsiyeh Joveini has pursued a comprehensive academic path in occupational therapy, marked by dedication to clinical innovation and research. She earned her Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy from Iran University of Medical Sciences (2013–2021), where her doctoral thesis focused on the “Development and validation of Iranian adolescent’s participation assessment tool in daily life,” under the guidance of Dr. Laleh Lajevardi and Dr. Afsoon Hasani Mehraban. Prior to this, she completed her M.Sc. in Occupational Therapy at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (2009–2011), where she investigated the “Effects of wrist orthosis on hand function of cerebral palsy children” with advisor Mr. Mehdi Abdulvahab. Her academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (2004–2008). Teaching Experience
Assist. Prof. Dr. Ghodsiyeh Joveini has amassed extensive teaching experience in the field of occupational therapy, contributing significantly to academic and clinical education in Iran. From 2014 to 2018, she served as a lecturer at Iran University of Medical Sciences, where she taught pediatric occupational therapy at prominent centers including Ali Asghar Hospital, Shahid Jalali Center, and Shafa Hospital. In 2018–2019, she continued her academic contributions as a lecturer at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, guiding students at the university’s pediatric occupational therapy clinic. Since 2021, Dr. Joveini has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences.
