His groundbreaking thesis, supervised by Pr. Tidjani Bouchami in the Department of Chemical Engineering, explored the thermal-hydraulic modeling and simulation of industrial steam boilers in transient regimes, utilizing the Relap5 computer code.Recognizing his expertise, in April 2011, Rahmani received an Academic Accreditation Certificate (Habilitation) from the University of Larbi Ben M’hidi, Oum El Bouaghi, Algeria, in the field of energetic physics, photo-thermal option. From 2003 to 2008, Prof. Ahmed Rahmani dedicated his expertise as a researcher in the Safety Analysis Laboratory at the Nuclear Research Center (CRNB) in Algeria.
