She completed her PhD in Computer Science on January 23, 2014, at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique (ESI), Algiers, with a dissertation titled “Towards a Reference Ontology for Higher Education Domain (HERO)”, showcasing her pioneering work in ontology development. Prior to this, she obtained a Research Master’s degree in Computer Science on January 31, 2009, where her thesis compared syntactic and semantic ontology alignment systems using tools like COMA++ and OWL-CTXMatch. Her academic journey began with an Engineering degree in Computer Science, with a specialization in Information Systems, from the Institut National en Informatique (INI), Algiers, earned on September 26, 1996. Professional Career

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Leila Zemmouchi-Ghomari has built a progressive and impactful academic and professional career in computer science and information systems. Since 2017, she has served as an Associate Professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Technologie (ENST) in Algiers, Algeria, where she teaches courses including Databases, Algorithmic, C Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Management of Information Systems, and Business Process Modeling (BPMN). Prior to this, from 2014 to 2017, she held the position of Assistant Professor at the Université des Sciences et des Technologies Houari Boumediene (USTHB), instructing in Information Systems and Algorithmic. Between 2009 and 2013, she worked as a Lecturer at Université M’hamed Bougara Boumèrdes (UMBB), focusing on system design methodologies, decision support systems, and IT management.
