Sheng-Dih Hwang, born in 1960 in the Republic of China (Taiwan), pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Chung Cheng Institute of Technology, a Master’s Degree in Health Physics from National Tsing Hua University, and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Thermal-fluid Mechanics at Chung Yuan Christian University. His interests extend beyond his academic pursuits to include a deep passion for Buddhism, particularly the Diamond Sutra.

Sheng-Dih Hwang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Chung Cheng Institute of Technology, a Master’s Degree in Health Physics from National Tsing Hua University, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Thermal-fluid Mechanics from Chung Yuan Christian University.

Experience 💼

Following his academic achievements, Sheng-Dih Hwang embarked on a teaching career at Chung Cheng Institute of Technology, where he mentored students and engaged in significant collaborative projects. His career highlights include developing a cost-effective delay time testing machine for detonators and contributing to national nuclear technology research at the Institute of Nuclear Energy Research.

Research Interest 🔬

Sheng-Dih Hwang’s research interests are centered around nuclear technology, particularly in simulating severe accident scenarios and developing strategies for nuclear power plants.
