Dr. Mohd Haizzan Yahaya, MSW, Ph.D., is a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), specializing in social work, social welfare, and human development. He serves as the Social Work Program Coordinator and holds various leadership roles, including Magistrate Advisor and Deputy Chairman of the Child Welfare Community in Penang. His extensive academic contributions include numerous international research grants and publications. Dr. Mohd Haizzan Yahaya earned his Ph.D. in Social Work from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2016. Prior to that, he obtained a Master of Social Work from USM in 2012 and a Bachelor’s in Administrative Science (Hons.) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2010. His academic foundation also includes a Diploma in Public Administration from UiTM in 2017 and a Certificate in Housing Transition from the Hannan Foundation, USA, in 2014. Dr. Yahaya has been a Senior Lecturer at USM since 2016 and currently coordinates the Social Work Program. He also serves as a part-time lecturer at Lincoln University College, Kuala Lumpur.
