Dr. Fang Dong | Environmental Catalysis | Research Excellence Award
Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics | China
Dr. Fang Dong is a leading researcher in environmental catalysis and heterogeneous catalytic materials, with a strong emphasis on VOC oxidation, CO₂ utilization, NOx reduction, and clean energy–related catalytic processes. Her research centers on the rational design of non-noble and noble metal catalysts, including Co-, Ni-, and Pt-based systems, using advanced strategies such as confined structures, core–shell architectures, single-atom catalysis, and heterointerface engineering. She has made notable contributions to overcoming key challenges such as low-temperature activity, catalyst coking, and deactivation in industrial VOC treatment. With around 100 high-impact publications, 2,685 citations, and an h-index of 32, her work demonstrates strong scientific originality, applied relevance, and sustained research excellence in environmental catalytic technologies.
