Mr. Tesfamichael Derso, an Ethiopian historian and researcher, has built a strong academic and professional foundation in the field of history and heritage management. With a BA from Wolita Sodo University and an MA from the University of Gondar, he has over nine years of teaching and research experience, currently serving as a lecturer at Bahir Dar University. His scholarly contributions include five significant publications in reputable journals such as Cogent Arts & Humanities, Ethiopian Journal of Social Sciences, Israel Journal of Ecology and Evolution, and Taylor & Francis, focusing on ethnic interactions, social history, infrastructure development, forestry, and the impact of Italian occupation in Ethiopia. He has actively participated in national and international seminars on manuscript restoration, religious controversies, and medieval studies. Recognized with the Young African Fellowships Award by CODESRIA and MasterCard Foundation, his research interests extend to indigenous conflict resolution methods. His work reflects a deep commitment to advancing historical knowledge and community engagement.
