Prof. Dr. Gongxuan Lu is a distinguished researcher in physical chemistry, having earned his Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1993 and joining the State Key Laboratory for Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation (OSSO) in 1986. His research focuses on environmentally friendly catalysis, catalytic hydrogen production, renewable energy conversion, and solar energy storage via photocatalysis. Over his career, he has published more than 137 peer-reviewed papers, garnering over 7748 citations and achieving an H-index of 49, reflecting his global impact. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the OSSO Laboratory and Director of the National Engineering Research Center of Fine Petrochemical Intermediates (ERC). Prof. Dr. Gongxuan Lu is also Deputy Chief Editor of the Journal of Molecular Catalysis (China) and a fellow of multiple scientific societies, including the Chinese Renewable Energy Society, Chinese Chemical Society, and Chinese Catalysis Society. He has mentored over 30 Master’s and Doctoral students and was awarded the State Second Award of Science & Technology Development, highlighting his significant contributions to science and innovation.
