Mrs. Yudi Lozano is an internationally recognized environmental ecologist whose research centers on plant–soil interactions under global change, with particular leadership in understanding the ecological impacts of microplastics in terrestrial ecosystems. Her work integrates soil microbiology, plant ecology, and ecosystem functioning to reveal how microplastics, drought, and nutrient enrichment alter plant community composition, ecosystem multifunctionality, invasion dynamics, and soil carbon and nitrogen processes.
