Dr. Kieran James holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Curtin University of Technology (2005), with a thesis titled “Accounting for Goodwill in Business Combinations: Is There Value to Choose?” He earned his Master of Accounting from The University of Western Australia in 1992, where his thesis focused on “The Initial Pricing Processes of Australian Unit Trust IPOs.” Dr. James also completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) at The University of Western Australia in 1989, laying the foundation for his distinguished career in academia and research in accounting. 🎓📊🔍

Dr. Kieran James has held numerous academic positions across the globe. Currently, he serves as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business and Enterprise, University of the West of Scotland (2016-present). He has also been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Fiji since 2017, and previously a Full-time Professor there from 2013-2015. Earlier in his career, Dr. James worked at the University of Southern Queensland, Charles Sturt University, Curtin University of Technology, and the Singapore Institute of Commerce.
