Prof. Dr. Shahab Khameneh Asl has been serving as the Head of the Ceramic Laboratory Complex at the Materials Engineering Department, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Tabriz, Iran, since September 2016. Under his leadership, the complex encompasses a wide range of specialized laboratories, including ceramic manufacturing, refractory technology, glazing, glass and porcelain technologies, thermal analysis, advanced ceramics, bioceramics, electroceramics, and ceramoglass research.
