Dr. Thabang Masilo Sefalafala pursued his academic journey at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, culminating in a DPhil (PhD) in Sociology in December 2018. His dissertation explored the complexities of unemployment and the significance of wage work, focusing on ex-gold mineworkers in the Free State Goldfield. Prior to this, he earned a BA Masters in Sociology in 2012, investigating precarious work among security guards in Johannesburg, and a BA Honours in Sociology in 2011, delving into union dynamics at Driefontein East Gold Mine. His foundational education includes a BA in Sociology from 2007 to 2010. 📚🎓

Dr. Thabang Masilo Sefalafala has a rich teaching background, spanning various institutions and courses.
