Prof. Vincenzo Ezio Santobuono is an accomplished cardiologist and academic with a Classical High School Diploma (1999), a Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bari (2006, summa cum laude), a Specialization in Cardiology (2011, summa cum laude), and a PhD in Experimental and Forensic Medicine and Pathology (2015). He has built a distinguished career combining clinical expertise, academic leadership, and pioneering research in cardiology, particularly in telecardiology, remote monitoring, arrhythmia management, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. Professionally, he has served as Medical Director at the Regional TeleCardiology Center of Bari, specialist consultant for military and governmental institutions, and lecturer at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” across nursing, medicine, radiology, psychiatric rehabilitation, and cardiovascular disease programs. Currently, he is a fixed-term researcher (RTD-A) leading an innovative project on telecardiology integration within hospital-territory networks.
