Mr. Daniil Samsonov | Magnetic Research | Best Researcher Award

Bauman Moscow State Technical University | Russia

Mr. Daniil Samsonov is a promising young researcher from Moscow, currently pursuing his master’s degree at Bauman Moscow State Technical University in the field of high-tech plasma and energy systems, after successfully completing his bachelor’s studies with distinction. His undergraduate thesis, dedicated to developing a laboratory prototype for temperature testing of undulator systems with permanent magnets used in the “SILA” accelerator-research complex, was highly evaluated and demonstrated his strong scientific capabilities. Since October 2023, he has been working as a research laboratory assistant at the Kurchatov Institute in the Laboratory of Magnetic Research, where he has gained valuable experience in designing, assembling, and calibrating measurement stands, conducting mechanical, thermal, and magnetic calculations, developing automation software, and working with electronics and instrumentation. Daniil is proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks and Kompas-3D, simulation software including COMSOL Multiphysics, and technical platforms like Mathcad and Altium Designer. He has published research articles in respected journals including the Journal of Applied Physics and Sensors and Actuators A: Physical. Fluent in Russian and English, Daniil is recognized for his responsibility, determination, and continuous drive for scientific and professional development.
