Dr. Shiqi Guo completed his Ph.D. in Development Economics at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in 2021, graduating summa cum laude under the supervision of Jean-Louis Arcand. Prior to this, he earned a Master’s in Economics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) in 2015, where he worked under the guidance of Pinghan Liang. Dr. Guo also completed his Bachelor of Economics at Sichuan University (SCU) in 2012. His education journey includes international experiences such as a visiting fellowship at Harvard University in 2019-2020, where he was hosted by Richard Freeman.
